Rufus

Rufus is a stunning Malamute-Husky mix with a heart as big as his fluffy tail. He was found abandoned at the downtown Stockton transit center, waiting patiently and hoping someone would come back for him. Sadly, no one did. Now, this sweet boy is looking for the forever family he deserves.

Despite everything he has been through, Rufus is incredibly friendly, gentle, and calm. He has been loved on by multiple people, including children, and has soaked up every bit of the attention. He’s affectionate, well-mannered, and does a wonderful job following commands. Rufus has an easygoing nature that makes everyone he meets fall in love with him.

He walks nicely on the leash, and is happiest just being part of the family. Rufus would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal, loving, and steady presence in their life. Rufus is ready to leave his past behind and start fresh with a family who will never give up on him. If you’re looking for a sweet, devoted best friend, Rufus may be the perfect match for you!

Love's Legacy

Love’s Legacy Rescue believes every dog deserves a second chance at love and happiness. Their mission is to connect rescue dogs with caring families ready to provide a forever home.

They believe that adopting a dog is a rewarding experience that transforms not just the life of the dog, but yours as well. Based in Marin, they rescue dogs from all over California.

Liberty Dog Network

The Liberty Dog Network was founded in March 2022 and is a foster-based rescue. We have rescued dogs from various shelters across Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange, and San Diego counties.

Our mission is to help the dogs in the overcrowded shelters have a second chance at having a wonderful life. Shelters across America are euthanizing because they are out of space and the Southern California region is at the top of that list.

FurryTail Endings

FurryTails Endings is a nonprofit animal rescue and networking group based in Southern California. Founded in 2022 by Divya Cowgill, FTE is passionate about giving every kind of animal another chance at life. Due to severe overcrowding and euthanasia at shelters, more recently, the focus has been canine rescue.

Animals are rescued from high-kill shelters and off streets to place them in their perfect furever homes. Each animal goes to a foster to give them patience, time, and love. FTE's priority is ensuring that both animals and humans are set up for success, giving them their very own FurryTail Ending.

Diamond's Friends

Launched in 2021, Diamond's Friends Pet Rescue is a Newport Beach 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization. Diamond's Friends is entirely foster-based. Their mission is to help homeless dogs find loving and compassionate adoptive families. They accomplish this by being good stewards of donations, inspiring dedicated volunteers and fosters, educating on responsible pet ownership, and advocating for each animal under their care.

Diamond's Friends is named in honor of the founder's late dog, Diamond. She was a fantastic foster sister to many dogs and a friend to every animal she met. It is our hope that many more animals in need will get to be one of Diamond's friends.
